Thanks to you and everybody else for the great trip to the lodge. We had dynamite fishing, including a day on Moraine that was as good as it gets. In six days of fishing, we had four days where we essentially didn't see another fisherman. The hike-in streams (Little Ku and Chargash) were everything I hoped I shot over 1100 photos.

I even got a spey lesson from Dan on the Naknek and managed to hook (and lose) one of those big Naknek slabs. I was hoping for one of the club pins.

You have a great operation going and I will be happy to do anything (photos, quotes, etc.) that might help things along.

Guys,

What a great time we had fishing, eating, fishing, eating... The lodge was fantastic, guides and staff were great. The Otter and Beaver de Haviland pilots were the best. We got to fly out over some of the most unspoiled landscape in the World. The fish were everywhere and we caught them! Rainbow Trout, Char, Dolly Varden, Grayling, and Northern Pike. The Bears and Bald Eagles were fishing too... It was magical. I do not think words alone can convey the experience.

I just returned from a truly unforgettable week at Rapids Camp Lodge. I have traveled around the world to many first class lodges and this trip was one for the books. From the moment you arrive in King Salmon you are greeted with unforgettable characters and warm smiles. Every person on staff is genuinely excited to see and talk with you about each and every day. Every day you are asked what YOU would like to do, and with a fleet of float planes at your disposal you can truly enjoy what wild Alaska has to offer. The Alaskan Peninsula is such a vast region to explore, you need guides who know this area well and Rapids Camp Lodge has just that. We chased Arctic Char, Halibut, silvers, ling cod, sockeye, and huge Rainbow’s. Where else can you do that on the same trip? Every day was a new adventure and I could not wait to see what was around the next corner. I have little time to spare and when I travel to fish I want to know it will be a productive week wherever I am going, at Rapids Camp you are without worry every day and it feels like every day is tailored for you. On my trip I landed a 31 ∏” Rainbow from the Naknek River, a 30” Arctic Char from an unknown watershed and fished within 20 yards of a massive Grizzly sow feeding her cubs. That is what adventure fishing is all about and I will be back! Thanks to everyone at Rapids Camp Lodge for making my trip so memorable, it truly could not have been any better.
